Scooting

Earlier this week, I stopped at the thrift store.  I'm not exactly sure what I was looking for, but it might have been a doll stroller.  I want to find Scout an appropriately sized doll stroller to help encourage walking.  I was heading to Walmart, but decided I couldn't handle that so went to the thrift store instead.  I didn't find a doll stroller.  Actually, I've now realized that the Little Tikes doll buggy that I was thinking of (pink, plastic) is actually still in production.  So maybe I'll just wait until next Christmas.

But what I did find was this:

Isn't it cute?  It even says "I'm a Toys 'R Us Kid."  Are you singing the ad jingle now?  And it was marked at $3.99 but actually cost less.  I figured that if it fell to pieces, I could repurpose the wheels to make this stroller (with a little a lot of help from my dad).

Scout will sit on it and she almost looks like she knows what to do.

But mostly, she likes to play with the handlebar streamers.
