Book Review - BabyLit Pride & Prejudice

When I was just pregnant with Scout, I started to re-read Jane Austen.  I was a little obsessed.  After I finished re-reading Pride & Prejudice, I watched the entire BBC mini-series.  And then I became obsessed with another BBC mini-series, Lost in Austen.  I honestly, tried to come up with a Jane Austen character name for Scout, but couldn't decide on anything though they are some of my favorites: Elizabeth, Jane, Charlotte, Catherine, Lydia, Emma, Elinor, etc.

So when I came across this....

Little Miss Austen Pride & Prejudice

I knew that it had to be added to Scout's library.

It's absolutely adorable.  It's a basic counting board book featuring characters and concepts from the movie...

Did I mention that I love it?  It's also available as an e-book for the iPad.

Actually, I love the whole Babylit concept.  We probably won't be buying Romeo & Juliet, because we think Shakespeare, if he was in fact one guy, is pretty over-rated, but I'm pretty sure I'll be on the lookout for Alice in Wonderland and Jane Eyre when they are released.
