A weekend.

While I've always been a fan of the weekend, I have to say that I love them even more these days.  Fall has arrived, not just on the calendar, and with fall comes football.  And while we aren't crazy fanatics and we don't wake up at 6 a.m. on Saturdays to start drinking beer and tailgating, we do pay attention.  Between us we have fan allegiances to 3 different universities, and this weekend Scout was dressed to represent the home team.

Go Hawks 01

Even I had to admit that it was, perhaps, too much.

Scout spent the day with her grandma, and Rykert and I headed to the game. It was perfect weather for football.

And right across from us, I could see the hospital peeking over the stadium.

Do you see those windows at the top of the picture in the center? One of those is the room where Scout was born. I remember thinking, on that rainy April day, what a great view we would have it was a game day.

Oh I don't think Scout's outfit is too much at all! Dress her to impress until she decides what she wants to wear. How special that she was born with a view of the stadium!
