After piecing together the crinkle toys, I had a lot of the rainbow ribbon left. Isn't it pretty?
With a few more minutes at hand, I decided to make a small blanket for Scout. To spell her name, I first printed large letters in Word. I cut them out, and traced them on to Heat 'n Bond Lite fused fabric. Cutting the letters out constituted a significant amount of the time devoted to this project. After that I backed the blanket with some minky fleece and secured the rainbow ribbons all the way around.
I'm not sure what you would call a blanket of this size. It's not large enough to, say, keep her warm. Is it a lovey? Is it a stroller blanket? I don't know, but she does enjoy putting things in her mouth these days.
