When I went looking for my fruit/ vegetable metaphor for the 23rd week of pregnancy I realized that one site was saying that it was the size of a spaghetti squash (but that's what the other site labeled last week) and the other site said the weight of a mango.
But I swear we already had a mango (what the hell? we did, week 19). It seems to me that a spaghetti squash is bigger than a mango. I'm not sure. I'll have to scope it out next time I'm at the grocery store. Again, evidence that these grocery store produce comparisons are not science.
This week was a blur. I'm taking a couple of weeks off work starting mid-week next week, so I've been busy there getting things squared away. And then I've been coming home and cooking and sewing. I have a bit of renewed energy. Though my back can only handle a bit of sewing at a time. I need to start trading off with knitting. Pre-pregnancy I can honestly say that I never really had any back pain. I think the only time I've ever had any issue was when I over-did it at the gym. So I'm probably going to have to pay the piper now or something.
Whatshername (yes, that's still her unofficial, pre-birth name) is bouncing around in there. And it appears that she's growing exponentially at this point judging by the stretching feeling and the fact that things are again starting to feel snug.
I have a few more posts mapped out but they need pictures. We had our first measurable snowfall this week, which makes everything feel Christmas-ier. I have lots to get done before I head out for Christmas though. I'm planning on spending the bulk of this weekend baking and also finishing my shopping. Eek.
