Sitting at a sewing machine.

My parent's have a rather impressive collection of Fisher Price Little People. Literally a bucket full of Little People in all shapes, sizes, characters, and vintage. But all are the original, apparently potentially lethal, narrow body shape. Despite a nearly complete Sesame Street set and a few other hard to find People, the one piece that I had never seen before was this:

FP Little People Sewing Machine

I have seen it elsewhere online. But on an impulse I purchased this set off ebay (and I'm ashamed and not admitting what I paid for it). The sewing machine and chair are in excellent shape, but the grandma is a little rough. But that's an easy swap.

And with that, I need to step away from ebay. I get myself in trouble sometimes buying Flip and Fold Fashion and Fashion Plates. Next thing you know, I'll be bidding on a Mall Madness game or some Pound Puppies for my back windshield or a Speak and Spell or a Jem! (actually, I know for a fact that there is at least one of these at my parents with the original dress that I now want to list on ebay).

If you find a Speak and Spell, let me know! LOVE the dress ol' grandma is working on... Looks like she's bringing mumu back!

I remember that sewing machine and Grandma. I don't think I thought anything of Grandma being the seamstress back in the day, but now I find it hilarious. I probably made Dad do the sewing when I played with Little People. Thanks for the great trip down memory lane. Congrats on your wonderful buy.

I think my old Mall Madness game is at Mom and Dad's, I used to beg you and Emily to play it with me and you guys never would. I still remember the commercial, "there is a sale at the fashion boutique".

Oh yes, the "fashion boutique".

I think I should start a blog about vintage toys from the 80s. I think it could actually be really fun. Of course I'm not sure I have the ebay budget for it.

I have no recollection of Mall Madness. Is that weird?

Thanks for the link, Abby. I still don't remember that game at all though. When the youtube video started playing Grace came across the room and watched it. It totally caught her attention!
