Aaargh... Another week.

Another week slipped by somehow. The extra hour of daylight and the incredible weather of the past few days have kept me away from the computer.

We've also been sucked into the vortex that is Big Love. We made our way through Season 1 over the past couple of weeks and just started Season 2, so no spoilers please. The tv has been conducive to knitting, but not so much to computing and blogging.

And the weather. Oh the weather. A couple of weeks ago, I was honestly beginning to think that spring would never arrive, that the 2 foot pile of dirty snow in our front yard would never melt, and I would continue to be Vitamin D deficient. But then out of nowhere spring arrived and it rained and rained. But it's finally drying out. The peas have been planted (crossing fingers), the seedlings started, and we've even had dinner on the deck a couple of times. Of course all of that means, that we are now supposed to get more (hopefully short lived) snow this weekend.

It looks like it is going to be a very busy spring. Workwise we are gearing up for some Federal policy changes that should have sizable impact on what I do to support my crafting habits. It's all good, but changes nonetheless. Plus two of my co-workers will be going out on maternity leave at the same time. So my day job is busy. Plus I have a couple of side projects that I'm working on as well. I hope it leaves enough time for knitting and blogging, but you never know. If I go silent for periods of time, that's why.

What a great blog. Happy SPRING, my friend! We've been playing outside all week, too. It's been in the mid 50s every day here in Maine. It gets cold here at night though -- lower 20s but it warms up fast. If you get any snow, it'll be OK... it will melt fast and spring snow tends to green things up even more.

Once again, HAPPY SPRING! :)
