Chunky Fake Cables

I have a stack of patterns that I'm trying to work through along with the odd balls of yarn I'm turning into hats.

The Chunky Dean Street Hat (only available via Ravelry here) was one of those hats. It's a faux-cable stitch pattern that looks far more complicated than it really is.

I really like the result. Though, honestly, the small was almost a bit too small for me. So I would probably never knit the small again.

This used just shy of one ball of Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky, and I used size US 10.5 (for the brim) and US 11 needles.

There is also a worsted version. I will probably knit one or two more of these with the extra Lamb's Pride Bulky that I have on hand.

I'm a hat kick. So there will be lots of hats. I'll offer them to my friends and family, and anything that isn't claimed or gifted, will go off to someone who needs a hat this winter.
