I didn't mean to go silent on you. The days got away from me last week, and the weekend was busy and full of family. Plenty going on. But not a stitch was knit all weekend, and the two almost finished projects continue to languish.

And honestly, I'm exhausted and in a bit of a funk. A friend and co-worker passed away on Friday after battling cancer, and it's been on my mind ever since. She was very young (24), newly married, intelligent, and kind. Such a thing is bound to cause a mini-existential crisis. And I guess it has. I am snapping out of it, but it's still terribly tragic. And my heart goes out to her family.

In the meantime, I'm keeping very busy. And hopefully I will be back soon with something more uplifting to talk about. Like the baby dress I finished knitting.

So sorry to hear about your loss. It is tragic, and existential wonderings are to be expected.

Libby, I am so sorry about your co-worker. That would throw me for a loop too. I can't say I have been knitting or blogging either, so I forgive you :P.
