Painted People.

A few years ago, I was painting little wooden people. I couldn't stop. They were so cute, and it was so much fun. But believe it or not, I still have a box of unpainted people (I apparently bought in bulk).

My sister is recently engaged. And as a result I've seen a few Wedding magazines and such lately. I'm not sure how I came upon, Goose Grease's cake toppers on etsy, but I did. They are adorable. And if I didn't have a box of unpainted wooden figures already in my basement, I would order one for her. But instead, I thought I'd give it a try. If you want to give it a go, Goose Grease also sells unpainted supplies as well on etsy.

One thing to note is that I am a very sloppy painter so this takes every ounce of concentration I have. And it's still not perfect. But I think they are cute nonetheless.

I can't decide what to do about the faces. I'm really scared I'm going to irreparably screw them up when I try.

I think this one looks like Donald Trump.

Because I never show pictures of myself, here I am at work. From Rykert's vantage point as he watched tv. You can see my messy craft room, poor posture, bulky sweatshirt, and new haircut.

I'm not sure if she will actually use one of these at her wedding, but since when did my crafting need a purpose. Right? And today I'm at work with fingers covered in super glue and paint that wouldn't come off.
