Cupcake Week: Spring!!!

Despite the fact that we had snow last weekend, ugh, spring is here. And when the snow melted, the grass appeared to be even greener. And the calendar says that spring is definitely here. To celebrate, I made these...

Bird's Nest Cookies

6 oz milk chocolate chips
6 oz butterscotch chips
2 cups chow mein noodles

Melt chips in the microwave, stir until smooth. Pour over the chow mein noodles. Drop the noodle mixture onto waxed paper and shape into nests. Place a few egg shaped candies into each.

I used more edible Easter grass and then placed them on a cupcake.

And that's all. I'm on a diet.

I think we've got a bit more winter coming tonight, but your bird's nest cupcakes should be a pretty good antidote. It looks adorable!

Cupcake Week has been very fun. You have so much creative energy. Now I just wish you could come to my house and help me bake a cake for our Boy Scout adult bake-off competition with Scout or Patriotic themes...
