Photography: Macro Part 3

My last attempt was sort of the spur of the moment and used supplies that were entirely leftover from the original build. Using one of the shelves in my craft room, I built two screens (foam core with a window cut-out, and thin white cotton stapled (and duct taped) tightly into the center). The screens slide into the shelf, and the lamps are clamped on each side.

Impressed. The quality is akin to what I got with the large box.

This will probably be my go-to set-up for everyday pictures. I can leave this set-up, and change the background as needed. Of course, the drawback is that it will only accommodate smaller items.
