She does still knit.

For those of you who stop by for the knitting content, I've finally got something for you.

This is Anouk, from Knitty. My color choices and the use of the heart patch are entirely inspired by versions seen on Ravelry.

Garter Stitch Heart

ETA: I don't know what's wrong with those first two pictures, but they look a little distorted on my monitor. Sorry about that.

Dress Pattern: Anouk from Knitty by Kate Gilbert
Heart Pattern: Garter Stitch Heart (available as a Ravelry download)
Yarn: Cotton Ease in Taupe and Strawberry Cream (I've been hoarding every little bit of this now discontinued pink I have, and am left with just a few odd ends and one new ball).
Ravelry Link.

I'm so smitten, I may knit another. This is destined to be a gift, at some point. It seems like everyone I know is having a baby, so I'm sure I can find it a home. But first I think it needs some matching booties. And maybe a beret.

A week or two ago, I finished the tank I was knittting. It fits, but the pictures are sooooo bad. They make my butt look big. Or maybe it is. At any rate, I'm going to blame my photographer for now, and I'll try again soon. But I do like the top.

So, so cute. I love the colors, too.

Super cute! Now that I have a little niece I am much more interested in baby/kid knits. I may have to give that one a try.
