At last.

After the long cold winter, signs of spring are popping up all over the place. I saw a few robins starting a couple of weeks ago. Our driveway has finally been uncovered, and the piles of snow in our front yard are visibly smaller. Yesterday it precipitated rain rather than sleet, freezing rain, or snow. And Rykert is starting to get that itch to get his skis in the water, despite the chunks of ice and frigid water temps.

While the temperatures still seem a little lower than normal for this time of year, we have finally turned the corner and spring is definitely here. Here are some other signs of spring:

A muddy dog

Muddy Nola
who just remembered what was under all that snow and is loving it.

We found a vacuum solution. Consumer Reports didn't give the Dysons great marks, and we were reluctant to spend that kind of change on a cleaning apparatus (though everyone gives them glowing reports). We landed on a Eureka recommended by Consumer Reports at a 1/3 of the price. It's heavy, but it really sucks.

Next time, evidence that we've been busy building a full scale seed starting operation and some crafting.
