Not a stitch has been knit in the past weeks. Work has kept me busy, and my free time has been spent worrying about this whole house thing.

Last week we had the house inspected, and it came to life that the roof was very near the end of its life. Needless to say we're back at the negotiating table trying to see if we can work out a remedy. We have to finalize tomorrow, but we still haven't heard from the seller. In the meantime, I posted an ad. for our apartment on Craigslist thinking that it would take some time to find someone to take over our lease. Imagine my surprise, and delight, when we found someone in less than a day. So that's a done deal, though the house is back up in the air. At any rate, we have to be out of here by June 15. If all goes according to plan on the house we're currently negotiating on, no problem. However, if things don't work out we'll be under pressure to find something or be homeless mid-June.

I think that things will work out, but the waiting has been killing me. I mean, seriously, can't they just get back to us so that we can move forward. I haven't packed a thing, though I intended to start, because I didn't want to junx the process. We'll see.

The knitting and crafting will return soon, I hope. I've lost my knitting mojo.

Good luck. Hope you hear something soon. Maybe a little knitting would calm your nerves. Pick something simple though, nothing that requires brain power.

And I hope you find your knitting mojo soon.

It's even more fun doing this when you have a house to sell before you can make an offer on one to buy. Enjoy! :-)
