From the depths of the knitting basket.

I have resurrected Something Red Black. Well, at least I have resurrected it in my mind. What was the impetus, you ask? I newly started knit-along on the Cotton Ease Yahoo Group. It was just the motivation I need to finish. So, I'm not exactly following the rules of the knit-along, but I'm joining them in spirit.

So, last we left... This was Something Black a mere 5 months ago, March 15, 2006 to be exact.

The thing is: I know that I will wear this if I ever get finished. Don't let this picture fool you, I still have one sleeve to complete, and then pick up hundreds of stitches to knit the ribbing and buttonhole. She is far from complete. I think it is the impending doom of having to pick up all of those stitches that has me dragging my feet. Perhaps I'll put Rykert's sweater (which is nearing the all important splitting of the sleeves) down long enough to finish this up. And then, I can start my Hourglass Sweater without any guilt.

It looks great Libby! I hate picking up stitches, too!

I hope to cast on this weekend. MUST FINISH OTHER PROJECTS FIRST. (If I say it enough, I'll do it!)

Maybe those impending picked up stitches are part of what provoked me to frog mine this weekend. :\ I agree though, it's a very wearable sweater. I do hope you'll finish yours... I'm sure you'll love it.

I think that this is a very flattering sweater, might have to add it to my list if I ever do another sweater!
