Sweet Pea.

Sweet Peas from the farmer's market:
sweet peas

and a Sweet Pea hat.
sweet pea hat

Pattern: Sweet Pea Hat
Yarn: Lion Brand Cotton Ease in Strawberry Cream and Pistachio
Dates: July 11 - July 14, 2006
Recipient: My cousin's expected (any day now) baby.

This hat turned out really cute, so I'll definitely be making a few of these for The Preemie Project. Perhaps I should make some in blue - most of my hats thus far have been girly.

Oh, and I haven't knit a stitch on my Jaywalkers. They have been neglected for cute hats and cotton yarn. I'd also like to get a start on Rykert's anniversary sweater - pushing the Jaywalkers even farther to the sidelines.

That hat is beautiful, just like the other ones have been! And the flowers are gorgeous; I love sweet peas!

Beautiful flowers and such a cute hat! Sorry to hear about your Jaywalkers. I have a neglected sock on my dpn right now. I am looking forward to seeing your anniversary sweater in progress. I am getting ready to start hubby's x-mas sweater year 2 shortly.

I didn't realize you had the hat already made when I saw the pattern on Sunday. It's adorable! So good to visit with you...if only for a short time. I guess I'll just have to come back some day. Let me know if you are ever in the Houston area.
