Long week.

It's been a long week around here. Well, not really long but just kind of weird. So, here we are at the weekend. I'm wrestling with a decision. I won't go into it in any detail here - lest I'm googled. When all is said and done, the decision is pretty clear, but I'm belaboring it nonetheless.

Rykert tossed and turned all night last night with a pain in his left eye. We considered going to the ER in the night, but he decided to tough it out until morning thinking that it was probably Pink Eye. Well, a trip to the doctor and a visit to the opthamology clinic later, he ends up having small shards of metal scraped from his eye. Needless to say this was not a fun way to spend a Saturday and it's still pretty irritated. Oh, and we have no clue where the pieces of metal came from or how they ended up in his eye. Strange.

Tonight we saw Inside Man with Clive Owen, Denzel Washington, and Jodie Foster. I have to admit that I had low expectations. The trailers looked good, but trailers always look good - even for the suckiest of movies. Inside Man was actually really good. It held together well with an interesting plot (without being completely predictable), and the ending didn't suck, which I find to often be the case with your typical Spike Lee fare.

I haven't really done much knitting this week, but the Ribbons blanket is growing. I'm nearing the halfway point. Pictures to come...

I hope Rykert's eye fully recovers soon, ouch!!

I hope you find some peace of mind. Knit through it, it'll help. :)
