After 24 hours with the air conditoner on, the back of the apartment is now cool enough to be in. Despite the fact that it is over 90 degrees outside. So, let the sewing commence.

First there is another baby blanket. The colors are a little wonkie, but the velvety fleece with dots is a pastel pink, and the flannel is baby blue.

The fabric cost me a total of $3, maybe. Each piece was in the fabric remnant basket at the fabric store, and the remnants were then an additional 75% off. This is a very soft blanket.

Next we have two knitting needle cases. The perfect companion for every knitting bag. I really want to list one on Etsy or Ebay just to see if I could sell any. I don't really have any notion of making money on my crafty wares, but it might be a way to at least make money to enable my craftiness.

The zipper on the pink one is a little sticky thanks to a poor ironing job on the lining.

Keep cool.
