Nothin' Much.

My knitting is stalled. I've started and restarted a number of different new projects, mostly tanks. I'm not satsified with anything. But I have been knitting, at least some... I'm working on this baby sweater...

It's knit using one ball of Bernat Softeen Baby and Seamless Yoked Baby Sweater pattern. It's a really easy pattern, and is knitting up fairly quickly. I don't have a recipient in mind, so it will more than likely be donated to the Preemie Project. Though it is likely too big for a preemie, it will be a nice sweater for a baby to take home and grow into or something.

I had another job interview today. I hate getting dressed for interviews. I always feel like Skipper in Barbie's clothes on days like today. Not to mention that my interview shoes kill my feet. I made things all better by stopping at Beads & Beyond in Cedar Rapids afterwards. This was my first trip there, and it was a great little shop in an ordinary looking strip mall. I left with only the Addis that I have been looking for, but will certainly be returning once I figure out what I really want to knit.

I'm heading for my hometown this afternoon. I may be attending the Iowa Sumer Sheep and Wool Festival in Adel on either Saturday or Sunday. I'm not sure yet, but I hope to get there at least briefly to check out what the local vendors have to offer. I will be going to the Mexican grocery store in my hometown at some point to see if they have Aguas Frescas, because yes, this dyeing thing is that addictive.
