Nothing to update.

Well, I'm here. And alive, barely. Last night was the second night in a row of no sleep. I'm not sure what the cause of the insomnia is, but it is driving me crazy. I've been exercising regularly for the past few weeks. My goal each week is 4 days at the gym (at least) with a mix of free weights, cardio, abs, and at least one yoga class. Despite not sleeping at all last night, I made a valiant effort this morning. I went to the gym with the intention of attending a butts and gutts class followed by a full hour of yoga. Well, half way through the abs I was so exhausted I couldn't keep myself on the ball (literall) and left early. I think this is the first time I've ever left a class early. I just wasn't feeling it today. But tomorrow is another day.

As for knitting, well it is extremely boring and unphotogenic at the moment. I'm knitting pink sleeves, red squares, blue squares, and sewing together said squares. Not much of interest to photograph.

In response to the comment from the last post, yes, Liz, I do read while knitting. This feat is dependant on a number of different factors, most notably: (1) Said knitting must be simple in pattern (i.e. stockinette in the round, etc) and (2)Said reading must be interesting, but easy (i.e. Da Vinci Code = knit and read; Faulkner = barely read and no knitting). I learned to knit during law school, and the bulk of my case law reading was done while knitting on simple scarves and stockinette socks.

I'm also working on a simple website with all of my (and my family's) favorite recipes.

Hopefully, by tomorrow I will have something interesting to report on the knitting front. Don't hold your breath (I still have lots of squares to knit).
